Can Light Therapy Help Improve Your Health?
There is strong scientific data that supports there theory that several modes of light therapy can indeed improve your health. The NIH says that up to 80 percent of all illnesses in the US are caused by excess stress in our daily lives, and by reducing stress, we'll improve our overall health.
I recently witnessed several instances where over the short term, the effects of environmental stress (in this case, heat and lack of sleep) were greatly reduced by creating a "chill space" with comfortable cushions to relax upon, and while my friends relaxed, they gazed at a BL-15. Within 15 minutes, they felt tremendously better, and they looked much better too!
Any volunteers who'd like to report back? Don't be shy!
Blissfully Yours,
Julia

Laser Wand Visits Bobby and Rat Dog
I Saw Bob Weir and Rat Dog last Saturday night at the Rock Yard in Indio, CA, and took my laser wand to see what kind of affect it would have on a concert crowd. Bobby and crew played cohesively and the songs were tight, with the same light and energy that has carried the entire family for the last 40 something years… Fans were obviously very hungry, for before the second bar of Jam was played, there was dancing that didn’t stop until after the show when the house lights came up for the last time after an excellent encore of Touch of Grey. I whipped out my Laser Wand and added an additional dimension to the vibe by creating a psychedelically-charged dance area. I held it (like you would hold a pencil) at shoulder height and swirled it around as if I was stirring a cup of coffee. As the energy in the room intensified, the crowd, music and lights began to interact in such a way that contained an almost eerie synergysm. Twirling dancers entered the veil of light to be bathed in dots and lines that swirled into random shapes and the infinity symbol. More folks gathered round to take part in the dancing and sparkles of joy began to flow among the circle while Bobby and the Band took us to new heights with The Wheel. It was such a unique experience, and one that was completely unexpected, I had no less than 100 people come up to me saying “I have got to have one of those!”.
Mark your calendars...

We've got a surprise in the works!
Our amazing inventor Randy has been uberbusy coming up with some amazing new laser projector creations that are sure to pave the way to new levels of laser enjoyment. I know, I know, I'm teasing by not fully disclosing what it is, but we're not quite ready to unveil it just yet. One thing that I can tell you is that these new creations will be at a price point that will enable the average Joe to have their very own BlissLight.

Following your bliss...
People often ask why we call our company "BlissLights". Our inspiration can be loosely traced back to the late 1980s when American mythic Joseph Campbell spoke of "Following your bliss" during a series of interviews with Bill Moyers. These interviews, aptly titled, "Joseph Campbell and The Power of Myth with Bill Moyers " later developed into a book, The Power of Myth. Within months of publication, the term "Following your bliss" became an American catchphrase that inspired millions to pursue what creates passion, or their Bliss, in their lives. Quoting the Joseph Campbell Foundation website (www.jcf.org), "It is a matter of identifying that pursuit which you are truly passionate about and attempting to give yourself absolutely to it. In so doing, you will find your fullest potential and serve your community to the greatest possible extent." Following our passion for the universal beauty of light and sharing it with others is indeed, following our bliss.
As we make our foray into the Blogosphere, we welcome you to join us on our path to bliss. Please feel free to share your questions, experiences and feedback.
