Randy Johnson and Alan Lee co-founded BlissLights™ in 2006 by inventing, engineering, and patenting a unique multiphase diffractive holographic optics and light projection technology.

In 2004, Randy Johnson created what would later become the Laser Stars projector to help his young daughter fall asleep at night. This prototype, shaped like a sleepy star with softly glowing edges, cast a soothing field of stars with a cloud nebula that lulled her into a peaceful, blissful sleep night after night and the BlissLight(TM) was born. This, in part, inspired Randy to embark upon his mission of sharing the universal beauty, energy, and healing properties of light with others. With over 20 years of expertise in laser development and a lifelong passion for laser technology, Randy is a visionary who is actively and consciously embracing his Bliss by creating the means by which everyone can enjoy the beauty, energetic and healing properties of light with the world(s).

Alan Lee, President

Alan Lee has founded several successful technology based companies with his extensive experience in sales, operations, research and development and management of high-tech businesses. His product knowledge spans telecommunications, internet, network, security, industrial products and computer services.

The first BlissLight product was The StarField Projector which brings hundreds of thousands of consumers hours of enjoyment. BlissLights licensed The StarField Projector to be manufactured and marketed by Can You Imagine, the premiere manufacturer of toy and novelty lighting products. In 2007, BlissLights launched their first manufactured product which is the pioneer of the line: The BlissLights 50. Since then, the company has launched a line of products that is creating a new standard in lighting effects.
